We're calling on people from all regions, backgrounds, communities and cultures across the UK for well-loved recipes – and the stories behind them – to become part of Britian's baking story.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to include a story with my recipe?
No. Your story is completely optional. You can simply share your recipe, although we would love to hear why it matters to you, if you would like to tell us.
Will my recipe definitely be included in the book?
Submitting a recipe does not guarantee that it will appear in the finished book. Submissions will be reviewed before the final book is created. Only a limited number of qualifying recipes will be selected.
For consideration, upload your recipes as soon as possible. The first recipes submitted will also have the chance to feature at the beginning of any relevant chapters.
Can I submit more than one recipe?
Yes, you can make another submission if you have another recipe you would like to share. Please submit each recipe separately.
How will my name appear?
If your submission is featured, we plan to credit you using your first name, surname initial and region - for example, John S. from the South.
What can I upload?
You can upload a clear photo (taken from above with the full recipe in view), scan or document containing your recipe. You can also add photographs connected to the recipe.
Can I buy a copy of the finished book?
No. The finished book will be a one-of-a-kind display piece and will not be available to purchase.
Is this a competition?
No. There is no prize or competition mechanic. This project is about collecting and celebrating recipes and the stories connected to them.
What happens to the content I submit?
Your submission will be handled in line with the campaign privacy notice and submission terms. These will explain how your recipe, story and photographs may be reviewed and used for the project.
